All Leica airborne mapping systems store their raw data on Mass Memory (MM) devices.

MM30 utilizes SSD as the physical storage media type, with two SSD per MM

MM60 utilizes NVME as the physical storage media type, with two NVME per MM
HxMap DataCopy requires all MMs used to record a session be connected to the download computer at the same time. Follow the instructions below to connect the MMs.
MM30 / MM60 data port

MM30 data port is connected by USB3.0

MM60 data port is connected by USB4
Connection of the MM via the data port is common for both types.

Push the MM into the slot and make sure, the slot is locked using the key lock.

Connect to power to the data port

Connect the USB cable to the data port first, then to an available port of the same type on the computer.
Once the MMs are connected, the operating system should automatically mount the physical storage media as local disk drives. You can then continue with the data copy process. Once copy is complete, use the operating system’s safe removal of external device feature to disconnect the MMs.
MM30 / MM60 PC adapters
PC adapters are available which allow the MM to be directly connected to the PC motherboard by PCI protocol. In such a setup its necessary to power off the full machine when ever connecting and disconnecting the drives.
MMs connected by PC adapters are managed as local storage devices by the operating system. Any utilities which would encrypt or modify local storage devices must be configured to not modify the MMs, otherwise FlightPro may no longer be able to access them.
