Defining keyboard shortcuts

HxMap comes with pre-defined keyboard shortcuts as described in this manual. For some of the commands the user can change the keyboard shortcuts to his own preference. To do so, open the HxMap Settings (File > Settings) and change into the “Aliases” section. This section allows for each of the perspectives to define/change the keyboard command for available operations.

To set a command:

• select the item in the list

• double-click in the “Shortcuts” column which will then change HxMap into capture mode

• press the shortcut command you want to set (including modifier keys if desired)

• HxMap will asign the entered shortcut to the selected command

Use the “Default” button to reset keyboard shortcuts to the application default.
