Accessing data from Leica SPL100
Standalone System
The Leica SPL100 standalone system uses two SSD disks to store data. In order to transfer raw data, use either the USB 3.0 SATA III hard drive docking station or any SATA to USB adapter.
To prepare the copy process, connect both SSDs with any of the above mentioned devices. Once connected, they will show up as two individual drives in the Explorer and are now ready for the copy process.
Leica SPL100 combined with Leica RCD30
In addition to the above mentioned two SSD disks keeping the raw LiDAR records, the system is equipped with two MM30 disks keeping the raw image data. Please refer to the section above describing the Leica RCD30 raw data access.
After properly connecting both mass memory sets (for the Leica SPL100 and Leica RCD30), six individual drives will show up in the Explorer and now ready for the copy process.
