Leica FlightPro 6.4.2 Release Notes

Leica FlightPro 6.4.2 is a service pack for the flight season 2026 for Leica TerrainMapper-3 with MFC250 Camera, Leica CountryMapper, Leica DMC-4 and Leica ContentMapper systems.

Systems

  • Leica TerrainMapper-3 with MFC250 Camera

  • Leica CountryMapper

  • Leica DMC-4

  • Leica ContentMapper

Main Features

  • No new features with Leica FlightPro 6.4.2.

Main Fixes

  • The FMCOffset values are zero in flightdata.xml files recorded with Leica FlightPro 6.4.1. Forward Motion Compensation (FMC) is working correctly for all cameras for all system with Leica FlightPro 6.4.1, but the additional FMCOffset values were written as zero in the session flightdata.xml file. The FmcOffset values are used in HxMap when processing the image data. Zero FmcOffset values could lead to a principal point correction difference in the order of +/-2 pixels, which would be partially compensated in the Aerial Triangulation (AT) process. The principal point error would be impacting the EOP position and attitude (depending on variance scale settings) in the Aerial Triangulation. This would lead to a higher sigma-0.

  • The Extended logging selection for the PAV is now saved

Main Changes

  • Changed the estimated time to about 10 minutes in the message shown before starting PAV Adaptive Calibration

Known Issues

  • MM30: Formatting of MM30 Mass Memory 7680GB M2 with FlightPro takes nearly an hour on some systems with older software

Upgrade Notes

  • Recommended upgrade path from:

    • Leica FlightPro 6.4.1

Licensing

Leica FlightPro 6.4.2 requires a license file with version 6.40 licenses.
