HxMap 3D Advanced module beta release - create 3D textured mesh and true ortho from Leica CityMapper systems
TerrainMapper-3 support beta release - process datasets through the complete Lidar workflow
Lidar workflow is improved for all Hyperion lidar sensors in TerrainMapper, CityMapper and CountryMapper systems
Completed image seamlines can be added as references to a new project
Blockwide radiometry supports oblique image display and radiometric normalization adjustment
Lidar Viewer cross section custom depth setting and improved navigation
Data Copy gives additional notifications in GUI when Allowable errors limit is reached
Main fixes
Product generation Infocloud colorization on points could show horizontal offsets
Product generation with units of us survey feet or intl. feet was scaled incorrectly
Product generation JPG output for DMCIII hi-res aerial image
Lidar Viewer blend intensity with color by take
Data source selection memory usage reduced
3D Editor cut object with snapping created unneeded vertices
3D Editor ridge move after cut object
Coordinate reference with parentheses in name could be assigned wrong ESPG code
Known Issues
License checking over a VPN may take several minutes
Upgrade Notes
HxMap 4.6 requires version 2.18.0 or higher of the Leica Client License Manager application to be installed before running. Ensure that it is installed on the license host, submitters and nodes for a distributed installation.
Image ingest processing is commonized for all MFC150 based systems: CityMapper-2, TerrainMapper-2, DMC-4, ContentMapper, CountryMapper. Ingest parameters are estimated in a strip-wise fashion prior to full image processing.
Lidar workflow improvements:
Calibration tool has been simplified, it is configured to compute Misalignment update by default. The [Hyperion Calibration] section of HxMap.ini is removed.
Calibration tool will add appropriate range offset and radiometric calibration values in case they are missing from the available calibration file for Hyperion sensors
Please compute a new misalignment update with calibration tool in HxMap 4.6 for each lidar sensor, before continuing with Ingest. Any existing flight data which was used to compute Misalignment can be selected.
The point cloud low noise filter has been moved from Point Cloud Classification tool to Point Cloud Filter tool and can be run separate from Ground Classification
Export EOP tool in Product Generation perspective now takes Project as input instead of Block.
First generation CityMapper (RCD30 with Hyperion 1) is no longer supported in Ingest.
