Working with the object list

By default, the object list shows all buildings currently defined in the tdc file.

Selecting objects

Use a single left Button Mouseclick to select an entry in the object list. By pressing the Ctrl key, multiple entries can be selected. Pressing shift will select all entries between the previous and selected entry.

To transfer the selection to the map windows, press the "Select Objects" button above the object list. Selected objects then appear highlighted in cyan in the different views. Additionally HxMap will adjust the position and zoom level to visualize selected objects in the main window.

Filtering the object list

Pressing the "Add filter" button above the object list will open a section that allows to define a filter to reduce the number of entries.

Current filter options are:

  • Guid: Use wildcard expression to define allowable Guids (e.g. 1*3*)

  • Object ID: Use wildcard expression to define allowable object IDs (e.g. 1*3*)

  • Object Type: select as many object types as desired from the drop down list

  • Quality: Type values and value ranges separated by comma or semicolon (e.g. 10-20, 40; 50)

  • Layer: Type values and value ranges separated by comma or semicolon (e.g. 10-20, 40; 50)

  • Color: Select color from the color picker

Once defined, accept the filter by pressing the checkmark button on the right.

You can add additional filter by repeating above steps.

Your object list will show any object that fits all the defined filter.

To remove or modify a filter simply click on the filter you want to change. Then either accept the filter again or press the minus button to remove the filter.

Sorting the object list

The list of objects can be sorted by simply clicking the header of a column. HxMap will then sort the listed objects based on the values in that column. Clicking the header again will reverse the sorting order.
