Licensing

HxMap will verify the existance of required licenses depending on the data loaded or tasks executed.

A licensing service needs to be installed on any system operating HxMap. This licensing service will then contact the license server and check-out any licenses required for processing. At the same time the software maintenance date is checked against the required maintenance date of the software. HxMap cannot be started if software maintenance ended ahead of the required maintenance date.

The required maintenance date for each release can be checked in the release notes text file located in the installation directory of HxMap.
