Sensor Calibration Certificate update process

If an update to the Sensor Calibration Certificate is required, the first step is to contact the airborne support team (sensors.emea@leica-geosystems.com). To renew a Sensor Calibration Certificate, a standard misalignment flight is necessary, as outlined in the specific sensor section of this document. The renewal can be based on a flight conducted by the customer or one performed by Leica Geosystems. To determine the best option for your specific situation, it is recommended to consult with your local support team before collecting any data.

A updated Sensor Calibration Certificate includes the evaluation of the current geometric accuracy of the existing calibration, a basic assessment of the radiometric properties, and a recalculation of the misalignment values. The updated Sensor Calibration Certificate will reflect the new dates and values, ensuring the sensor's performance remains reliable and up to standard.
